How To Train Your Bird

Follow these steps to have the most loving bird in the world.

First off, you should start training when young. When I mean young i mean right about when they start to get there feathers! I taught all my birds when babies and now they actually come over on their own!

Calling your bird is the absolute key! You must have a name for your bird. Start by spending time with them everyday, calling their name. After-awhile they'll get use to it. Soon they will respond to the name they were given. Then, say their name,"Lulu" again. "Lulu" Hold your hand up then bend at the wrist making a floor. Wave at them to get there attention. "Lulu" say the name again getting all excited. They fly over. Once they do say their name again. "What a good girl. Yes, you're a good girl, Lulu." lol I know it sounds silly but they will honest to god , fly over. Once they fly over stroke their back or rub their neck. Mind you, you don't need food. This id there treat, the neck rub. Once they come over they'll start to come more and more themselves.

That's it. Those few steps are the keys. That simple. By doing these steps you will be able to train a parakeet to a parrot, even doves & pigeons!
